Advertising Policy

The Mindoro Journal of Social Sciences and Development Studies (MJSSDS) maintains a strict policy regarding advertising in order to preserve the integrity, independence, and academic credibility of the journal.

The journal does not currently accept or publish commercial advertisements in its print or online platforms. MJSSDS is an academic, peer-reviewed publication and operates independently of commercial advertising influence.

All editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of scholarly merit, relevance, and adherence to the journal’s aims and scope. Under no circumstances are editorial decisions influenced by commercial, financial, or promotional considerations.

If in the future the journal considers limited advertising opportunities, such advertisements will be:

  • Clearly separated from editorial content
  • Reviewed and approved by the Editorial Board
  • Restricted to content relevant to academic, research, or institutional purposes
  • Managed to ensure they do not influence editorial or peer-review processes

Any potential advertising arrangements will follow ethical publishing standards, including those recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), to ensure transparency, independence, and avoidance of conflicts of interest.

This policy applies to all platforms of the Mindoro Journal of Social Sciences and Development Studies (MJSSDS).
